The Alliance for Land and Legacy is a nonprofit organization focused on protecting open land that holds natural beauty and lasting importance. We care for places that mean something, where the land speaks for itself through its quiet and enduring presence.

We’re ALL in for keeping these landscapes open, cared for, and respected. Our work includes long-term land protection, light-touch use, and sharing what makes these places special. Some of the places we protect still show signs of simple, practical, and lasting land use from the past.

We’re ALL in for preserving land that protects what matters. Clean air, open space, a sense of place. And when we do that well, we leave something real behind for the next generation.

We're ALL in for our first project: The Earnest Marsh Territorial Preserve, a 100-acre conservation effort on the island of St. John that protects one of the largest remaining undeveloped private land parcels on the island.
